Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is BFIRST spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością, registered office at ul. Radosna 23, 62-023 Dachowa, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register under KRS number 0001208693, tax ID (NIP) 7773458130. What data we collect and why

Enquiry form. When you send an enquiry, you give us your name and e-mail address, optionally your phone number, as well as the type of project, timing, budget and example websites. We use this data to answer your enquiry and prepare a quote. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. Providing the data is voluntary, but without an e-mail address we cannot reply.

Direct contact. If you e-mail us or call, we process the data from that correspondence for the same purpose. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, and for keeping correspondence and defending against possible claims, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

Technical data. The hosting servers record technical information about each visit: IP address, date and time, the page address and browser details. It is used for security and for finding errors. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We do not combine this data with form data.

How long we keep data

• An enquiry that did not lead to a contract: up to 12 months from the last message.
• Client data after a contract: for the duration of the work, then for the period required by tax law and until any claims become time-barred.
• Technical data: briefly, in line with the hosting provider's rules.

Who receives the data

Data goes only to companies that help us run the website and e-mail:

• Vercel Inc. — hosting of the website and of the project preview server,
• Resend — delivery of form messages to our inbox,
• LH.pl — e-mail hosting and storage of correspondence.

Vercel and Resend are based in the United States. Both companies participate in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has found an adequate level of data protection (Article 45 GDPR). The transfer is additionally safeguarded by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission (Article 46(2)(c) GDPR), included in both companies' data processing agreements. We do not sell data or share it for marketing.

Cookies

The website does not use analytics or advertising cookies and does not track visitors. It stores one technical cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers your language for a year. It is needed for the website to work, so we do not ask for consent.

One of the experiments in the Lab may ask for access to your microphone. The sound is analysed only in your browser and is never sent anywhere. You can withdraw access in your browser settings.

The form remembers what you have typed in your browser until you send it or close the tab, so nothing is lost if you open another page. Nothing is sent anywhere before you click “Send enquiry”.

Project previews

In the Work section you can browse the websites in our portfolio. A website loads only after you click a project, and it goes through our server. The server connects to the client's website on its own behalf, so the client does not see your IP address. It does not pass on your cookies, blocks the client's analytics tools and disables form submission. If you choose “Open in a new tab”, you go to the client's website, where the client's privacy policy applies.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing and to data portability. Where processing is based on our legitimate interest, you can object. Write to kontakt@bfirsthome.pl and we will reply within one month.

You can also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.

Automated decisions

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing and we do not profile visitors.

If we change how we process data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
